This ministry is focused on adult non-Catholics who are considering membership in the Roman Catholic Church and adult Catholics who have not received First Communion or been Confirmed.  It assists non-baptized persons to prepare for Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist; and those who are baptized in other Christian traditions, to prepare for reception into full communion with the Roman Catholic tradition.  Parish members involved with R.C.I.A. process includes catechists, sponsors and prayer partners.  This can be a particularly enjoyable and satisfying experience for those who offer sponsor candidates.
